To the land of Cockaigne is a poetic portrayal of a woman who, in the histories of men, has been endlessly iconized and defamed.
Very little is known about this historical character and after twenty years of research I offer this book as an imaginative history. With delicate hand-painted watercolors and lyrical storytelling, I trace a woman’s courageous journey. In her, I see the power of the divine Feminine which our world has not only forgotten, but actively vilified and suppressed. She reminds us of the sacredness of that which has been denied; my hope is that this story of softness and strength can serve as inspiration and healing.
There is a very limited edition (twenty-five), precious, handmade paper version that has been carefully bound with a lot of care and love in United States.
This choice of self-publishing also reflected my wish to bring a minimum of materialistic objects into the physical world unless they are of beauty, very high quality and/or support highly skilled artisan(s).

Vers le pays de Cocagne est le portrait poétique d’une femme qui, dans l’histoire des hommes, a été constamment à la fois iconisée et diffamée.
On sait très peu de choses de ce personnage historique et après vingt ans de recherche, je propose une histoire imaginaire accompagnée de délicates aquarelles peintes. Je retrace ici le parcours courageux d’une femme. En elle, je vois le pouvoir du Féminin divin que notre monde a non seulement oublié, mais activement vilipendé et réprimé. Elle nous rappelle le caractère sacré de ce qui a été nié ; j’espère que cette histoire aussi douce que forte pourra nous servir d’inspiration et de guérison.
Il existe une édition très limitée (vingt-cinq exemplaires), précieuse, minutieusement reliée avec beaucoup de soin et d'amour aux États-Unis.
Ce choix d'auto-publication reflète également mon souhait d'introduire un minimum d'objets dans le monde physique, à moins qu'ils ne soient beaux, de très haute qualité et/ou qu'ils soutiennent un ou plusieurs artisans fortement prisés.

Verso il paese della Cuccagna è il ritratto poetico di una donna che, nella storia degli uomini, è stata costantemente sia iconizzata sia diffamata.
Si sanno pochissime cose su questo personaggio storico e dopo vent’anni di ricerche, propongo una storia immaginaria accompagnata da delicati acquerelli dipinti. Ripercorro qui l’itinerario coraggioso di una donna. In lei, vedo il potere del Femminile divino che il nostro mondo ha non solo dimenticato, ma attivamente vilipeso e represso. Ci ricorda il carattere sacro di quanto è stato negato ; spero che questa storia nel contempo dolce e forte potrà servirci da fonte d’ispirazione e di guarigione.
Esiste una edizione molto limitata (venticinque esemplari), preziosa, accuratamente rilegata con una grande minuzia e tanto amore negli Stati Uniti.
Questa mia scelta di auto-pubblicazione rispecchia pure il mio desiderio d’introdurre un numero minimale di oggetti nel mondo fisico, a meno che non siano belli, di altissima qualità e/o che sostengano uno o vari artigiani estremamente pregiati.
